“Life is full of re-writes”

So says a friend of mine.  Now, I’m not sure that’s necessarily true, but there does seem to be a lot of recurring themes.  My comment that brought his insight on was “why is it that when I seem to have closed a chapter on my life, parts of that chapter show up in unexpected ways in the current story?”  People from my past, almost forgotten, are making cameos into my current life.  I can’t seem to fathom why, as some of these characters from stories past, weren’t always a part of my better times.  Some were part of some of the worst decisions I’ve ever made while some, on the other hand, were integral in parts of the sweetest memories.
